About The Workshop
Discover the art of heritage photography at the Qutub Minar Photowalk with Parveen Gahlot. From golden hour to blue hour, learn to frame, light, and capture Delhi’s iconic monument like never before. Perfect for beginners and enthusiasts alike.
Photowalk Itinerary:
Early Evening (4:30 PM – 6:00 PM):
- 4:30 PM – Arrive and settle in; start with wide-angle shots capturing the monument with the evening sky.
- 4:45 PM – Capture the intricate carvings and architectural details in softer light.
- 5:15 PM – Take shots of the surrounding complex, Quwwat-ul-Islam and Iltutmish’ Tomb.
Golden Hour (6:00 PM – Sunset):
- 6:00 PM – Use the golden hour light for warm, rich tones on the monument.
- 6:30 PM – Capture silhouettes or framing the monument against the colorful sky.
Sunset and Blue Hour (Post-Sunset to 7:30 PM):
- 6:45 PM onwards – Focus on capturing the monument illuminated against the dusk sky.
- 7:00 PM – Play with long exposures if lighting conditions permit, to capture ambient light and shadows.
